Guillermo A. Frias has extensive litigation experience in the field of eminent domain and inverse condemnation. He represents both business and property owners in seeking just compensation for their property interests. He also represents public agencies in acquiring property for public use.
His trial experience includes both trying cases himself and serving in prominent roles on several trial teams. His litigation efforts have resulted in over $40 million in total compensation for clients, including a $21.9 million jury verdict for Lehman Brothers.
Mr. Frias began his practice in the field of eminent domain and inverse condemnation with the firm of Berger & Norton, formerly one of the foremost boutiques in the field. While there he focused on both litigation and appellate work.
Mr. Frias is licensed to practice in all Courts of the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California. He received his undergraduate degree from U.C. Berkeley and his law degree from the UCLA School of Law.
